Coalters was started in early 2007 by Reuben Barrett, Managing Director, and Rob Letts, Branch Manager, working from a spare room at Reuben Barrett’s home. We are very proud that we have grown from those humble beginnings to be the third largest estate agents in the York area as measured by an independent survey.

Coalters continues to grow and grow by offering a class-leading service to buyers and sellers in the York area. We have ambitious plans to be the largest estate agents in York through a rigorously pro-active approach to the housing market.

Coalters employs local people and we are very proud to have created so many jobs for the local community in such a short time of operation. Undoubtedly this success will continue.

In early 2008 Coalters expanded their service to include lettings.  Coalters provide the same unrivalled service to the lettings market as they have done on sales.  Landlords receive personal service with real attention to detail, ensuring their property is looked after at all times.
