Coalters receive prestigious award as the leading estate agents in York in the Estate Agent & Letting Agent Awards for 2008.
The York-based agency that was established only one year ago was recognised for its excellent customer service as voted for by their clients.
The trophy was presented at a lavish ceremony which took place at the five star Marriott Hotel in Mayfair attended by 400 of the UK’s top Estate and Letting agents.
The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent.
Reuben Barrett, managing director of Coalters said “We are absolutely delighted to been recognised for our excellent levels of customer service after only one year of trading. I am really proud of our superb team who have worked so hard to ensure that buyers and sellers of property in York receive the highest levels of service. We have now launched a lettings business and we look forward to providing the same high levels of customer service to landlords and tenants.”
Jeremy Leaf, Chairman of the RICS Residential Faculty says “being shortlisted or actually winning one of these prestigious awards, which are widely recognised throughout the industry, demonstrates publicly an agent’s commitment to delivering the highest standard of service.”
There were 12 Regional Categories - Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Greater London, East of England, East Midlands, North East England, North West England, Southern, South East England, South West England, West Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. Gold & Silver trophies were awarded for each region and those winners and there were Grand Prix Awards for Best Estate Agent or Best Letting Agent in the UK.
Coalters was awarded the Silver trophy for the Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Category with the Gold trophy awarded to an estate agency branch in a village location. Coalters were the only estate agency branch in York chosen to be awarded a trophy.
